Using Ansoshi
These Terms govern your use of the Ansoshi website, accounts and related services operated by Ansoshi limited. “Platform” means those services that are available to you; mentioning a feature here does not guarantee its availability.
By accepting these Terms or using the platform where such acceptance is legally effective, you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Additional terms may apply to particular providers, payments or services when disclosed to you.
Read these Terms alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. For personal-data processing, the Privacy Policy governs to the extent required by applicable law.
Healthcare and emergencies
Ansoshi provides technology to help people access healthcare. It does not replace emergency services, an in-person examination or hospital care. If you think you or someone else is experiencing a medical emergency, seek immediate emergency medical assistance or attend an appropriate healthcare facility. Do not delay treatment while trying to use Ansoshi.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, listed healthcare professionals and businesses are independent providers. They are responsible for their clinical decisions, professional conduct, licences, treatment, prescribing, testing and confidentiality obligations.
Provider verification means the applicable verification process has been completed. It does not guarantee a clinical outcome, availability, suitability or the correctness of every professional decision.
Eligibility and account security
You must be legally capable of entering these Terms or use the service through a legally authorised arrangement where permitted. Give accurate, current information and update it when needed. Do not misrepresent your identity, age, professional status or authority to act for another person.
Keep passwords and authentication codes confidential. You are responsible for protecting access to your account and promptly reporting suspected compromise. We may require identity, email, phone or professional verification appropriate to the service and applicable law.
Patient and provider responsibilities
Patients should provide reasonably accurate information relevant to their care, follow lawful service requirements and treat providers and other users respectfully.
Healthcare professionals must maintain required registrations, act within their authorised scope, provide accurate credentials and clinical documentation, protect confidentiality and follow professional standards. Changes affecting eligibility must be reported.
Pharmacies must dispense lawfully, verify prescriptions where required, maintain appropriate storage and avoid prohibited or counterfeit products. Laboratories must follow applicable standards, handle samples appropriately and release results only to authorised people. Institutions remain responsible for the services and staff they provide.
Consultations, appointments and referrals
Review the provider, service, appointment details, price and applicable cancellation conditions before booking. Attend at the agreed time and provide the information reasonably needed for care. Digital consultations have limitations and may require an in-person follow-up.
Availability may change. A booking or referral does not guarantee a particular diagnosis, treatment outcome, hospital admission, bed or specialist. Any applicable missed-appointment or cancellation conditions should be disclosed for the service.
Prescriptions, tests and delivery
Prescriptions are issued by authorised healthcare professionals where clinically and legally appropriate. Ansoshi does not independently prescribe medicines. Pharmacies remain responsible for lawful dispensing. Do not submit fraudulent prescriptions, obtain medicines through deception or use someone else’s prescription without lawful authority.
Independent laboratories perform the relevant sample collection and testing. Obtain interpretation from an appropriately qualified professional when needed.
Delivery may be handled by a participating provider or independent delivery service. Give accurate delivery details. Times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed and can be affected by availability, traffic, weather, security conditions or other circumstances.
Prices, payments and refunds
Review the full price, currency and any disclosed taxes, fees or delivery charges before confirming a transaction. Prices may vary by service, provider and availability. Material changes should be disclosed before you authorise payment.
Where payments are enabled, you authorise the relevant transaction and any payment provider may apply its own terms. The Health Wallet, where available, supports eligible healthcare transactions; additional terms may apply. A wallet balance is not a promise of a regulated banking service.
Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the service, the disclosed conditions, the circumstances and applicable law. Processing an approved refund may depend on the payment method and provider. Contact support for duplicate or incorrect charges, an unfulfilled service or a disputed refund, with the transaction reference and relevant details.
This page does not set a universal refund deadline or replace the conditions shown for your transaction. Nothing here removes a refund or consumer right that the law gives you.
Records, confidentiality and family care
Health records may be subject to legal and professional retention requirements. Account closure does not necessarily delete them immediately. Authorise sharing carefully and do not disclose another person’s confidential information without permission or another lawful basis.
Paying for a relative’s care does not automatically grant access to their records. Family or caregiver access requires appropriate authorisation or legal authority. Available record-sharing and integration features remain subject to the Privacy Policy.
AI features and healthcare safety
Where available, AI may help with navigation, administration, summaries and information organisation. Its output can be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated. AI does not replace a qualified healthcare professional and should not be relied on alone for diagnosis, treatment or emergency decisions.
Seek appropriate professional advice for medical concerns. Report an unsafe or concerning AI response to support without including unnecessary sensitive information. The Privacy Policy governs processing of personal information in these features.
Acceptable use and honest reviews
Use Ansoshi lawfully and respect the safety, privacy and rights of others. You must not:
- Commit fraud, impersonate others, falsify credentials or manipulate payment disputes.
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse patients, providers or staff.
- Access another person’s account or health records without authorisation.
- Introduce malware, bypass security, interfere with services or harvest data without authority.
- Sell counterfeit medicines, submit fraudulent prescriptions or facilitate unlawful care.
- Manipulate reviews, buy ratings or post feedback about services you did not use.
- Use patient information for unauthorised advertising or other unrelated purposes.
Your content and our intellectual property
You retain your rights in content you lawfully own. By submitting it, you grant the limited permissions necessary to store, process, transmit, back up and show it to authorised people to operate the service. This does not authorise unrelated use of healthcare information contrary to privacy requirements.
Ansoshi’s software, branding, designs and original materials are owned by or licensed to Ansoshi. Do not copy or commercially exploit them without permission, except where the law permits. Do not suggest an unauthorised affiliation or endorsement. We may remove unlawful content or reviews that violate these Terms.
Availability and external services
The platform is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Maintenance, outages, upgrades and circumstances outside our reasonable control can affect access. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or a particular provider, medicine or treatment outcome.
External websites and services have their own terms and privacy practices. Ansoshi does not control services outside its operation. Events beyond reasonable control may delay performance, subject to applicable law and obligations that cannot be excluded.
Account restrictions and closure
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected fraud or credential issues, prevent abuse, secure health information or comply with law. Notice and an explanation will be provided where reasonably possible and legally permitted.
You may stop using Ansoshi. A material breach or continued legal, security or safety risk may lead to termination. Outstanding payment obligations, lawful record retention and terms that should survive closure can continue. Pending services or transactions may need to be completed or cancelled under their applicable conditions.
Responsibility and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ansoshi is not liable for losses arising solely from independent clinical decisions, provider misconduct, incorrect user information, external payment or delivery failures, third-party outages or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Ansoshi and its representatives for claims, losses or expenses arising from your material breach, fraud, unlawful use or infringement of others’ rights. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from Ansoshi’s own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot legally be transferred to you.
Complaints, disputes and governing law
For a complaint, contact support@ansoshi.com with a clear description and relevant booking or transaction reference. Do not include passwords, authentication codes or unnecessary medical documents. Support is not an emergency medical service.
We encourage you to contact us to seek a resolution, but this does not remove your right to contact a competent regulator or pursue legal remedies. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Disputes remain subject to courts or other mechanisms with lawful jurisdiction; no exclusive court venue is designated here.
Changes and general terms
Updated Terms will carry an updated date. Material changes may be communicated through the platform and renewed acceptance requested where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect may constitute acceptance only where permitted by law.
These Terms and applicable notices or service terms expressly incorporated into them form the agreement for use of the platform. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue where legally possible. Failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
You may not transfer your contractual rights or obligations without consent where legally required. Ansoshi may assign its rights or obligations where the law permits.
